Year 7-8 Curriculum
º£½ÇÆÆ½â°æ aims to foster students who are critical and creative thinkers and are resilient and passionate about learning.
The College strives to provide relevant, authentic, dynamic and creative learning experiences attentive to the needs of each person, promoting the development of the whole person. All members of the community are encouraged to work to the best of their abilities, to realise their potential and to strive for excellence in a safe, healthy and supportive environment.
Students in Year 7 and 8 study a common curriculum experiencing a wide range of subjects as follows:
- Religious Education
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Technology
- Geography
- History
- Music
- Drama
- Visual Arts
- Personal Development Health and Physical Education (PDHPE); and
- French or Chinese (Mandarin)
Skills and knowledge relating to the use and understanding of information and communication technologies (ICT) is incorporated into the content/skills of all syllabuses.
Mathematics, English, and Science have streamed classes to allow for different levels of ability.
Year 9-10 Curriculum

The courses studied in Stage 5 build upon the knowledge and skills developed in Stage 4. All students study a broad range as approved by NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
These courses include:

- as well as three electives chosen by the student

In Years 9 & 10 Mathematics, English, and Science there are specific classes for both higher and lower ability students.
Students may also elect to study a language not offered at the College either through Sydney College of Languages or by correspondence through the NSW School of Languages. Correspondence courses carry an extra fee paid to an external body.
Year 10 students are also involved in:
- A Community Involvement Program (CIP)
- A program of Reflection Days
- An Immersion program
- Peer Support training
- Other enrichment activities that vary from year to year
All students complete NESA’s All My Own Work program during the year in preparation for their Year 11 studies.
Year 11-12 Curriculum
º£½ÇÆÆ½â°æ offers a quality education that culminates in graduation with the credential of the New South Wales Higher School Certificate.
º£½ÇÆÆ½â°æ is proud of its reputation as being an academically successful school that provides rich learning opportunities for all students. The College Motto, Fide et Labore (By Faith and Hardwork) encapsulates the expectations of students and provides the key to their success in the senior years.
Years 11 and 12 offers students at the College the opportunity to grow towards maturity in many facets of personal development.
All students must study at least 2 Units of English, and at least 1 Unit of Studies of Religion or Studies in Catholic Thought during Years 11 and 12.
Students choose the remainder of their subjects after a considerable period of consultation and discussion between students, teachers and parents during Year 10.

Additional subjects may be available through distance education. There is also the option for students to complete TAFE delivered vocational education and training (EVET) courses as part of their studies. These courses carry an extra fee paid to an external body.
